Minecraft released the final update of Minecraft earth on January 05, 2021. Unlike the classic Minecraft, this game is set in real-life locations theme. Minecraft earth is about building structures and collecting material by traveling to real-life locations. But unfortunately, Minecraft discontinued the game on June 30, 2021.
The real reason for the shutdown is not clear but there are some rumors that it might be due to outdoor activities. Because due to the COVID-19 pandemic, outdoor activities are restricted, and the Minecraft earth is based on traveling to real like locations to collect materials. So, now the game is completely shut down.
